We kicked off Berlin Fashion Week with our annual seminar, diving deep into the world of sustainability communication. This year, we explored the various ways brands can effectively communicate their sustainability efforts while complying to new regulations, and the insights we gained were truly eye-opening.

After a warm welcome from Veronika Wand Danielsson, Ambassador of the Embassy of Sweden in Germany, we heard from industry experts like Camilla Modin Djanieff and our consultant Carlotta Queirazza, who shared invaluable perspectives on the subject. Julian Aisslinger from Marc O’Polo SE and Henrik Voss from Avocado Store GmbH also presented inspiring best practice examples.

“How do you communicate that you comply with a law? You don’t. It’s the bare minimum. You communicate what you do beyond the law.”

Eli Vlessing from CIBUTEX gave us this outstanding quote on the panel discussion with Victor Rybkin from H&M and Christine Moser from Grüner Knopf about how strategic sustainability communication can create real value for a brand.
